South Hill Rec Way Loop

Stuck inside all day with barking dogs. Did some packing but pretty much hung out. I was getting couped up, so a run was perfect. Weather is taking a twist toward autumn, and it feels great (it will get hotter later in the weeks). Went out on the south hill rec way, and added a mile on down. Getting mileage up, and it was nice weather. The cool breeze made it the perfect temp. It was cold in the shade, but hot in the sun. Reminded me of the beginning of cross... I had that desire to go fast and to race while I was out on the trail, something I havnt really thought about recently. Felt good as I was coming back down the hill. I picked up the pace. I was so in the zone, someone asked me for directions at South Hill School. They were looking for Danby (wtf??) and I told them to drive out on 79, even though it was 96b... I realized it after I got back, and I felt pretty bad about it. Its tough to give driving directions when you are running, since you just dont think about that stuff. Ehh whatever. I also scared a bunch of girls from running up behind them too quietly. I feel like you should be able to hear someone running up behind you. Apparently I would make a good pick pocketer.

Essentials: Stretch, roll

Legs feeling good overall, some tightness here and there, but stretching felt pretty good. The rolling def worked out my IT bands.
