Comments:
Was in the novice 1500 which was for girls that had never broken 6 minutes in the 1500 before so I knew I was going to have to control the race from the very start. Felt pretty good but my legs started to give in a bot during the 3rd lap. I think I had like a 80 meter lead for most of the race so it was good practice running alone. I know I could have gone maybe 5 seconds faster if I had someone pushing me. Could have run in the regular 1500 and done okay actually but I wouldn't have gotten a t-shirt (: Pretty happy with the time even if it is a lot slower than I used to be able to do. I think my goal for the season will be 5:18 seeing as I only have a few races left. Legs felt really crappy on the cool down and during the strides. Sylvia and Amy had huge PRs. We did really well as a team seeing as we were missing 3 point scorers at Loucks, we only lots by 4 points.
