Comments:
Kinda of a cooler day. Not as rainy as Monday, but it was dreary. As soon as we left Veale, the temp dropped. It was very cold. We did the regular warmup through little Italy, I was feeling weak and crappy. I ate a pack of sourpatch kids before practice, and was amped up right until we got to the track... anyways we huddled in the storage, then went out for drills. Coach decided to take the hurdles out because it was cold and kinda wet. My fingers were numb. Workout went well though. Focused on hitting pace, and then running strong in my spikes for the second half. We did 2x600, 2x400, 3x300, 4x200. Splits were
1:47, 1:45, 66, 66, 47, 46, 45, 31, 30, 30, 27.
I was behind the back in the first half, shoes were clunky. Still felt strong and fast though. Legs were feeling good. Second half I was up with everyone, pulled ahead on the 300s, but they were going slower. 27 in the last 2 was shirtless, wasnt weightdown. Knee and hip not too beat up after. Lets do this till the end! Reall excited to go again. Coach was really happy to see David and I back.
Cooled down back to veale. We were all freezing and beat. Went down to lift with David, we were delighted that it was only 2 things (power jammers, 1 arm goblet) back up to stretch, roll, L7 abs and Ice. I will probably feel the good sore tomorrow, but I wont do that much mileage. Might swim to get some more cardio.
