pickups and a long run

Comments:
i did 4 x 4min pickups at a pretty fast pace. i used my new garmin watch with the heart rate monitor. it gives accurate pace and distance which is pretty cool. for the first two i was between 4:50-5:10 pace. for the third one i was between 5:00-5:20. the fourth i ran with my friend. the goal was to run at 90% heart rate. but for the pickups i was at 93, 95, 97, and 94% of max heart rate on the pickups. good workout. did a good warm up and a long cool down for total of 12.
