Crescent trail #15: still rushing (noon)

Weather: almost cool in the shade with the breeze. But still hot in the sun

Comments:
today i started off at 8min mile pace but slower towards the middle of run and lost concentration. soon after turning around i realized i really didn't have much time so i began picking my pace back up.

did a number to my calves yesterday after literally running mostly sub 4mil half miles (8min mile pace) and up hill. and considering how i didn't stretch, let my body cool down, or even take a long hot shower or bath - i'm not surprised my muscles responded this way.

dehydrated. ironic - last week it was over 100 and this is the week i get dehydrated. well, i'll be fine so long as i drink this afternoon. its amazing what just 24 hours of not enough water can do to you.

my wandering mind had trouble focusing. half the time i wasn't thinking about anything at all eventho so much on my mind.
