Brooke overheard this over dinner. What a question for a dinner.
But about the run. This run was awesome. Maybe I should drink a cup and a half of coffee before every run. It was incredible. Just kinda ran until with around 2 miles left I relized I was running just over 6 min pace. So I decided to shoot for the elusive sub hour 10 miler (I've done it before but never just straight 10 miles in under an hour. Its always a split or a steady state type deal) Got to about a mile to go and was a shade under 54 minutes. Thought to myself about picking it up a bit. Pushed, not all out but def hard, to the end. The last mile was 5:05.
I feel like I needed a little bit of a confidence boost after the really horrible running late last week. Yesterdays 10 miler was better but this really proved to me I'm where I need to be and I should be coming into camp confident in my fitness. Felt damn good.
