Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
4 mile tempo on the track with Ed, Dusty, and Alex. Went pretty well and ran significantly faster than last week and actually felt easier I think. Ended up running 22:11 splitting 5:29 5:30 5:31 5:39. Would have been nice to average under 5:30 but it will come eventually. Nice to not have to set the pace. Only problem was my stomach wasn't feeling to great running hard. Eating ice cream 3 hours prior probably wasn't the greatest idea(but it was free! what do you want me to say?). 4 minutes recovery including a stop in the bathroom then 2xmile with a lap jog. Ran 5:23 and 5:30. Didn't press too hard and just wanted to maintain control. Would have liked to have run 5:15 to 5:20 but I really just wanted to get done. Felt pretty shitty after the work/during the cool down. Got it done and that's what counts. Fitness is definitely coming around.
