makimee day #2: field workout

Exercise Type: Run

6x600 at like my 800 pace, with 200meter cool downs in between
with marisa and elisa (sp?)
felt like sh*t but let team push me thru it. just let my teammates get me thru it and rather than think too much about it (elisa was so great, and marisa too). i definitely feel more mature - last year i couldn't have done that work out and i'd have gotten freaked out by running with another teammate and done it by myself. so great be be able to use my team now. gotta get rid of those nerves!
actually, i nearly did give up and break off on my own. i definitely told myself that i was getting thru the first one, but then i told myself i'd just get thru one more and then i could quit...and i got thru one more...and i told myself well i have to get thru this 3rd one because that'd mean i did half the work out...so i got thru half the work-out...then i said well i just gotta get thru #4 and then i can skip the last two...and i got thru the 4th and nearly quit...but if i got thru #5, then it'd just be one that i didn't do, and marisa said #5 was like the last one...and i got thru #5...and then of course i couldn't skip the very last one...
last one was strong (pulled thru hard in the last 100 meters). now that i think about it, i brought just about every one in strong, but that last one i really brought it in.
felt good about 5 minutes after the work out was finally over.
