makimee day #4: longg run! last day :'( early wake up (6am)

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: dark at first, then saw sun rise

Comments:
assigned to matt's group but followed marisa in running with the girl's team instead, which turned out to not be one of her most brilliant ideas...we were struggling with pace and we were literally dying from moving so slowly. i was just going nuts and wanted to just sprint off ahead.
after like 15ish minutes, we latched onto matt and his boys (the group we were supposed to be in) and found a good pace. had some awesome conversations...and matt told us about some of his adventures, including some rediculous mud race that sounded excactly like something he'd do.
on the way back we definitely went faster, perhaps because for a supposedly super long run it felt kinda short (for me anyway). then, over like the last 8ish minutes we progressively quickened the pace until the last couple minutes i was bringing it in really hard (strider pace) - at this point i think it was just me, scott and one other guy? but marisa and everyone were right behind us i think? that last minute was definitely not supposed to be so fast, but we were having fun (and it was marisa's idea lol)
then eased the pace back down for the cool down.
felt great, but short.
cruch progression and heel toe walks. did some push ups but then switched to arm circles cauz wrist was bothering me again.
