Meadowbrook & SHHS

Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
Got a good nights sleep after Sudeck and the foot ball game. It was muggy but cool out. I headed out alone, planning to do the loop from over the summer, where I almost collapsed and had to walk. I wanted to see if I could do it and push through. The circumstances were a bit different today, and I ended up doing a very different run. Headed out down Cedar and SOverlook, then up NP to Coventry. Turned on Coventry to head back to Cedar. Met Grogan coming the other way. He turned around and joined me on the rest of the run, which was awesome. This was way better running with someone. I was pretty sore in the beginning, and my ankles felt very weak, but after I started up with Grogan I felt much better.

We headed all the way down Meadowbrook. I wanted to peel off onto Courtland, but we missed it, so We went to Warrensville, past JCU and the traffic circle, and down NP. Cut across eaton to SP, hit up the water fountain, and continued down SP. Split off briefly to do a loop around SHHS, then went back onto Shaker. Back to XCFH via Coventry, Fairhill, and Harcourt. Legs were getting a bit tired on Coventry... Talked about the race yesterday, mental training, and the airshow. Felt satisfied when we finished.

Stretched on the lawn a bit, rehydrated because we were drenched in sweat. I went back up to roll, L7, and do crunches and ankle stuff. I think I can handle long runs on Sundays. This felt good and I feel strong. Long runs and endurance are so important... We will see how tomorrow goes though.
