Weather: 65 and Serious Rain

half mile on the treadmill then we went into the gym and ran for about 10-11 minutes so im gonna go head and say that was 2 miles for a warmup. Then gene decided that even though it was a torrential downpour we would still do intervals. Literally within seconds I was completely soaked and my shoes were squashing. Howevever the rain lightened up to just steady for the majority of the workout so it was alright. I love weather like that but what I dont like is how my shoes turn into 5 pound bricks. Anyways 2 sets of 6x200 with equal recovery then 2 more after that with half mile recov in between sets. Taking into account the rain and bad conditions dave was suposed to be under or right at 30 and everyone else (on varsity) was supposed to be 31-33. I was mostly at the mid 32-33 range with some being a bit faster and the first one of the 2nd set being 35... :( Anyways surprised I could handle that much speed and still be okay. Kind of cool to think that I ran almost 2 miles at 4:12 pace hahha anyways. Good day, just wish I could have gotten more mileage in, thanks weather. Also did a a half mile easy on the treadmill after the very wet cooldown out dudey and back with jordan. Semi decent day mileage wise, good workout wise.
Switched to my old trainors when we went outside cause I was not fucking up my new ones already. ACTUALLY, as Im just realizing this I actually got a shitload of miles in today, I only wanted to get in 7.3 but hey Ill take almost 10 wahoooo.
