Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Kinda a SNAFU at the beginning of practice. No one knew what was going on interms of the workouts or groups. I was just there at the right time I guess. Got taped and ended up leaving at 4 with Ethan and people who go early. It ended up that most of the top group was going at that time anyways... We all warmed up down Euclid (all the way) to the base of the big hill at Forest Hills. Tape was tight at that point, so I loosened it. Good thing I had it on today because the footing was bad overall.
We did a 1200m loop around the Rockefeller home site. The rest was 400m down the hill. We broke up quickly because we all took the rests at different speed. Used the up and over technique on the hills, helped a lot. Ran with Aaron and Brandon. Kept even splits through, dropped by the end. Kinda ran alone, remebered that if it didnt hurt, it wasnt fun. Recovered well too not to tired. I just cant get my legs rolling fast (tape, shoes, footing...) went around 4:35 for the first few, then dropped to 4:30, then 4:20 on the last one with Aaron. Happy I hung in there. Good workout I flet good mentally afterward.
Barnes drove us down Euclid a little, then Me Drew Peter and Ethan jogged back for cool down. Down for a good consistent lift circuit, then stretch, roll, ankle series, L7 and pushups before icing ankles. Got in a lot of miles today. Legs feel sore, but a few shake outs should be nice the next few days. Excited for Calvin. I have done my research on mental states, now its time to use them.
