Exercise Type: Run

Weather: 55F, windy but sunny

Comments:
Big run today. I don't think I really planned on a big run, but I wanted to hit up Hoffman Park Trails and anyway you slice that loop, you're looking at 8+ miles.

Ran the usual way -- out to Shopko first -- and my L heel felt the same as yesterday: really stiff and painful the first half mile, then after some stretching, it was OK. Really ghee, but also odd, because it's distal to my achilles attachment, nearly at the very bottom of my heel. Not sure what to do...

Had kind of bad gut rot on the run. Real gassy, and I should've stopped off at the Hoffman shitter before heading up, because sure enough, after one lap I had to go. Did the lap then headed down for the first grinder of '08 (TRAN =1, Behrs =0). I didn't want to run back right away, especially on the roads into the wind, so I ran back up for one more lap, then took the trails-way back. Wound up being just short of 9 miles.

Put the bike together last night, so a few hours after the run, I biked 30 min on the Quarry/Liberty loop, the home to lift and circuits. Big day.
