CoachL lightened the tempo loads for today. At the beginning of practice she said that if anyone would like to do another mile and I volunteered.
Real good tempo today. I felt really strong and I got to run with company. Definitely think I got a great aerobic effort in without pushing too hard. Definitely good workout. Ran with the top group through 5 which was really encouraging and then did a mile straight back out alone. Picked it up a bunch too. After the first turn around the wind was pretty killer.
Warmup 2 to MLK then Kamulsky drills. Pretty quick into it since it was raining.
Splits: 5:26, 5:26, 5:33, 5:32, 5:37 (probs long it took me a bit to hit the button), 5:17
Heart Rate: 180
Cooldown back the mile I went out then too the track. 300s felt really good. Was able to move well. Wasn't feeling bad from the tempo at all and could really move down the stretch. Then another mile back to Veale.
