Fairhill miles

Wet and rainy day again. Knew we were doing mile repeats, but the conditions were crappy all over. Coach had to search all over town to find the best place. I guess she decided on the grass section of Fairhill, which was still a little sketch.

Went with the 4:00 group. We had enough people for a pack. Got drenched on the warm up up MLK. had to take off the glasses. Basically the course was out up Fairhill to near Coventry, then back. Slipping and sliding on the uneven grass in trainers... Drilled and then started out.

Group ended up being me, Corey, Aaron, Drew and Peter. Drew lead most of them. Stayed with the top until the 3rd, when I fell back a little. The 4th wasnt that great either. Head felt awfully pressurized, and I was frustrated I couldnt get my legs moving, felt like they were spinning in the mud. I also was cautious. Did the last one on the road, and flew real fast that felt so much better. Overall it was a better workout than Monday. Shows I can run in the pack, we need to get it faster though. Eventually someone is going to need to push it up. Paces were supposed to be faster than race pace. They were a little quicker than Saturday (5:29, 5:28, 5:32, 5:25, 5:22)

Cooled down the same way with Aaron and Peter. Didnt need that much. Kinda dried off, then hit up lifting. It was powerful, just getting the feel. I will bump up weights each week to get huge. Back up, static 3, roll, L7, ankles in the sand pit. Abs alone, then iced with Corey. Again, last to leave Fribs... Almost Literally the last person.
