Exercise Type: Run

Weather: Chilly at first but comfortable

Comments:
Ran at South Chagrin reservation this morning. It was due to be a fartlek workout, 1:00 on, 2:00 off. Obviously with that kind of recovery we are supposed to go HARD on the on intervals. I did so and was really getting wiped by the recoveries in between. At six, I had more or less been dropped by everyone and at eight I called it because my left ankle was starting to feel tender. At first I felt like a bit of a wimp but calling it there was a good idea (wish I'd stopped earlier). My ankle has been very tender all day. I'll see Jess about it Monday but I'm expecting heavy taping for at least a week. Anyway, wasn't feeling my best this morning partially due to having a cold. I could feel my heartbeat throbbing in my head during the off intervals and was getting destroyed on the recovery compared to everyone else. Guesstimation on the mileage. At the moment I'm just glad all the hills did not agitate my knee noticeably.

Abs: Pick 8 x 30

Pushups afterwards. We were going to the max and I didn't realize everyone had stopped so I looked kind of ridiculous, but I got 56 in (I think) which would be more than I've done in one go since elementary school. I was still going so I'll have to give it another go sometime.
