1000's: Another odd monday...

Exercise Type: Run

Practice started off well. Found out we didnt have the tempo, went down to heat, then also tapped because it was wet out. hustled back up before we had the team meeting. Talked about how we need to go faster, and go out faster. Fight for our spots against the other teams. Big Meech held it down too with Runner of the Week and Balls. Didnt want the whole 3.5 warmups, so hopped in the van.

Ran from Superior to the park. Felt fine warming up it was pretty wet overall. Got there, drilled and such, then went out on the 1000 intervals. First few were good we took turns leading. It was kinda of a mish mash. HR wasnt recovering as well in the middle. Also flet like some I didnt get out well, and it showed. Was pretty tired before the 7th. COach told me to get fast steps, and I really though about that. Started off strong, felt really good, but about a minute in went down in to a whole, rolled left ankle. It had been so long! It hurt when I did it, but I had tape on so it wasnt a total loss. Still bumbed because I didnt finish, I was striding a little better, and I didnt get in that good a mileage today. Grrr. Immediate ice, then got driven back. Splits were at like 3:15 in the beginning, then leveled out to 3:23. Who knows what the last ones were... These workouts are really tough for me because of that leg speed. Its definielty something to focus on because it will be so crutial at Oberlin.

Got back, but on my brace, then lifted. Did everything except for the jerks and the shin raises. Pumped up in a lot of weights, but it didnt tax me as much as a full one. I was kinda zoning out too from minor disappointment.

Back up for stretch, roll, L7 and abs. Iced before showering too. Taking tomorrow off. In the summer one day was good i think, because i know I can do the tempo. ALso we got the workout friday.

Reread last mondays log, and my attitude still stands. Shits just gonna happen. Remeber how it feels at the race.
