Track Workout

Comments:
Had a guy's team meeting before to revisit goals, I think it was pretty productive.

Warmed up a little over a mile to the track then did another lap there. Did drills and a lap of strides.

Workout was 4x1000 at goal race pace with 2 minutes rest, 3x800 faster than race pace with 3 minutes rest, and 8x200 fast with 200 jog. Goal pace for the 1000s was 3:14, under 2:34 for the 800s.

Felt pretty good on most of these, but it was still a tough workout. Was really happy with how everything went, especially the 200s, which were 31, 34, 32, 33, 33, 32, 31, 27.

Mile on the field barefoot, then the lift minus the double hop thing. Got a ride back to Veale then stretch, roll, ice bath.

Glad to finally have a good Monday workout, and I think it was probably the highlight of my day and just what I need right now. Excited for this weekend.

EDIT: i dislike when this site moves all my splits around...1000s are in order, but the 2:31 was my first 800
