Wasn't exactly what I was aiming for...
Told to do shortened warmup, about 15 minutes of jogging then walked the rest of the loop with the other shortened warmupers. Then, jogged 5 minutes with Maya and did drills and dynamics with he, and strides at the line. Sat around for like 4 hours until warming up for race at 445. Felt fine, nothing out of the ordinary. Race went off, felt normal, got caught in the back for the first 1/4 mile, but then was able to work my way up by 1/2 mile. At about a mile, something felt kind of off. I knew that times were gonna be slow and whatnot, but something felt physically off. Heard Anthony say form was sloppy, tried to get more upright. By the 2 mile mark, whatever was off got even offer. On the roller coaster hills, a girl pulled me back onto the course because I was running into some trees, then at about 2.5, Anthony pulled me off. headed for the same thing at Glory days last year. Pretty bummed, because I dont think I did anything wrong, but I obviously didnt do something right. Really really out of it after. Not quite sure how to spin a positive on this one, but will hopefully be good to run tomorrow. Not quite sure on time...
