Ran these in trainers since I didn't want to put a ton of mileage on my spikes. 3 sets of 6, reps going off at 3:00 with a full 3 minute rest between sets. 1st set at goal 5k pace, 2nd set at mile pace, 3rd set faster. When I got to the third set, I was all out and couldn't get the pace moving for most of them. When I took off my shoes for the last one, I ran seven seconds faster with the same amount of effort.
