Timed Michigan on Towpath

Comments:
Tired and still sleepy when I woke up. Also concerned because my hammy was a little tight still. We drove out to the Towpath in Independence for a little change on the Michigan. It was all based on time. I guess I was feeling ok when we got started, but this quickly went down hill

10 min warm up, it was chilly out today. I stayed warm though. Felt tighter than I would like. Drilled and then did a few striders before coach let us loose. Workout was 5 hard, 3:45, 2:30, 1:15 all with 6 min tempos and 1 min rests in between. I went out hard on the 5 min, trying to stay with the top. Go big or go home. I also stuck around on the first tempo it wasn’t that bad. Aaron and Wyatt came up with me there, and I kinda drifted back from the top pack. The 3:45 and tempo after that was real tough, I started drifting. The last 2 tempos I was out of it got dropped by a lot. My hammy felt ok when I was going fast. But it is still tight. Mostly my legs just felt shitty today. Idk whats up since I had a easy run yesterday. The whole lower leg complex was feeling heavy and hard on the path. It just wasn’t clicking. I really had a tough week I guess, and I am a little lost with running log still down WTF. Just wasn’t my day.

Cooled down, then stretched at the parking lot. We drove back to veale, and I ESTEMED my hammy. Then iced my lower legs dang. Go easy tomorrow or xtrain play it by year. Then progression run. Hey people have bad days, today wasn’t the race. I tried today, but it didn’t click. Tomorrow another day
