swam again today, but did a workout that coach gave me. i definitely want to actually try and swim more often even when i return to full time running because i felt more tired after this swim than i have ever felt after any workout in my life. swimming just completely drains your whole body. and i was going really fast. slowed down gradually i assume, but i was swimming really hard every lap. did 10 times 3 laps with :30 rest, 10 times 2 laps with :20 rest and 10 times 1 lap with :15 rest. 10 min warm up and 5 cool down with water drills beforehand. i was beat by the end but i felt good in a certain way. iced and stuff after.
