Comments:
ran well the first 3 1/2 miles and then ate it pretty hard. I think if I go out like that again I'll do well. Willy and I were hammering from the gun; out in 5:03, 15:36 and felt great doing it, killed the hill at ~3 1/2 mile mark and that was my mistake. I wanted to break hitchcock going up that hill and made it up quickly but broke myself in the process. died on the downhill of all places. I think if I'd relaxed going up there I would have been fine. was in 13th place at that point and dropped to 21st by the end (I still think I was 20th); pretty terrible last mile and a half, but glad that I finally went after it from the gun and didn't completely blow up. 5:30's the last two miles is bad, but i've done much much worse.
