Comments:
Last Official practice before Regionals. In tradition we dressed up. I guess last year they wore sports bras. This year we went bro, with compression shorts. Definitely went out there... It was interesting. Steel missed the memo, and dressed up like the girls team did.
Had a meeting before we headed out. Basically talked about the race plan, and that we all need to know it. Talked about all the positives. No Negative thoughts. I am pumped. This is the next level, where I wanted to be. I am ready to embrace it and race it. Im doing this for my teammates.
Went on the standard warm up through little italy to the track, then did 6 x200 to get the turnover. Did them in the outer lanes. It was windy on the back stretch. Felt like I was rolling, got to stay loose though. Unbuttoned one button each interval, and I was free flying at the end. :) splits were 32 ish
Cool down back to Veale, detour through the library. No one yelled at us. It was kinda fun we should do it more. Apparently the 03 team did it...
Got back, stretch roll L7 and ice bath. Feeling better after that. Got a lot to do in the next few weeks. Its make it or break it. I am excited though. I have been working for 2 years to get where I want.
