Weather: brisk but really nice
Comments:
Did our big workout of the week. After warming up and stretching in Dillon, we did the workout under the lights on the outdoor track which was awesome. Ran the workout with Joe, Max, Donn, and Cameron. It's pretty crazy looking at it. Our top four guys right now are all freshman. OUR DREAM IS COMING TRUE! We can do this. Top 5 at Nationals. Did 2xmile with one minute of rest in between. then started the 1ks after resting for 2:30 minutes. They felt pretty fast after doing stuff at tempo pace. Also, my body felt pretty tired today but I still felt very controlled on the last two. I probably should have pushed the last one harder but I was feeling it. Regardless of having everyone stay with me on this workout, I still feel as though I can approach 8:10 this weekend. Finished off the workout with 4 fast 150s.
