I felt much better from my cold but was still scared of this workout. I started off a little slower than I was supposed to and sort of gave up, just getting the rest of it done. I guess the heart of the matter is that I've run pretty well to start the year and I don't want it to be a flash in the pan. I sort of feel like I've been taking things for granted the last couple weeks and that has to stop. Given the circumstances each day before today, I'm not sure I can question much of what I did, but I'm still disappointed/concerned with the sum total and general trend. On the other side, I did manage to recover from my cold relatively quickly. But, today was just awful and I knew it as I ran. I mentally broke for no reason at all. Whatever, all of this is done and Saturday is my best chance to turn it back around.
