Felt good enough yesterday that I felt confident going out for another run today. Going to NC this afternoon, so I ran this morning. Bundled up since it was kinda snowing out. Tiger balmed my foot too that helped. It was sore walking around the house, and in the beginning of the run, but after a while I picked it up, and I didnt notice it at all. I actually felt kinda good. Started out slow, threw in a steady state when I got to the bike path. Coach wanted to get up to 18 min or so of steady state/ tempo so that the speed workouts will be easier once the season starts. Thought it would be good to start this now. Went 5:55 on the bike path, and felt pretty good. See what happenes next week, but I will throw in twice a week when I get back, getting up to 18min. Rest of the run went well back home, had the wind to my back. Feel in decent enough shape even though I didnt run much last week.
Got back, stretched, rolled, L7, hips and abs. IDK foot feels better. Its just one of those things that shows up in the trials of a distance runner.
