Comments:
It was bitter cold out today. When I got to the eastern prom (about 1.5 miles into my route) the wind chill was just too much because it's right along the water, so I altered my route. I just made the route up as I went along. I did NOT mean to go this far. I thought I'd go maybe 8 or 9 miles. Surprisingly, my legs felt awesome and I wasn't sore the next day. I guess I'm in better shape than I thought. Part of it may be that I had to go slow because of all the ice, but still, I feel good about it.
