periodic treadmill brutality

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: so cold outside I opted to run inside

Comments:
mile warmup, 3 miles tempo (6:40 pace), 1 mile cool down. plus jog to and from gym.

on the schedule was 6 mi @ goal pace for 1/2 marathon. my goal pace is 6:15, am I out of my mind? I can't rush getting back into decent shape. I need to rest almost every other day still. slowly up the mileage. it's january. I have more than 11 weeks til race day, so about 9 weeks til I need to be in shape
