Comments:
A really good run. Felt good throughout. This was a fast pace for me (about 8:30 for most of the way) and I wondered if I would crap out at some point on the back half, but was able to stay strong. Pushed under 8 minutes on final mile to drop overall pace. Goal was to run 7 miles in under an hour and managed that easily. This may be my fastest time on this familiar course. Very satisfying after a weak last 8 months of running. 20oz water from handheld bottle.
