I can't remember the sets!
I do recall pulling some 100s at about 1:25 at 60 to 65% effort.
Also, there were some 50s which ranged between 0:17 and 0:20.
The most notable issue, however, was the "reach." I relaxed as much as possible so I could stretch my leading arm way out and scoop as much water in the power phase. In order to do that, the roll had to be slightly exagerated to the point where I felt I was on my side. But for the effort I was putting out, my times on the 100's seemed quite good (even with the pull bouy). If what I was doing is truly more efficient than what I have been doing, then my training will have to concentrate on this new feel. I'm still unsure about the depth of my arm during the power phase. It took more muscle if my arm was farther from my body, but I felt that I was moving more water. I'm not sure if that's wasted movement. On the other hand, keeping my arm closer to my body used less muscle and moved less water. It was easier to keep the arms closer to the body, but I don't have a measure of its effect on speed.
