Veale up West Park to Shaker to South Park to Warrensville Center and back same way (alone)-

I told Coach this morning I was not feeling 100% so she told me I was not running in the meet. At the time I was sort of wishing to race but felt terrible enough later to realize that we probably made the right decision. I decided then to run without watch up North Park as slow as felt comfortable.

I had an aching pain on the top of my right foot after about a mile that would not go away. It was not severe, but I was in some frantic mindset where I was worried it was a stress fracture. I was in a terrible mood even before I ran, so this was a miserable run indeed.

After nine miles, I decided to finally stop and take a look at my foot, thinking that of course it would not help any but I might as well try. I realized right when I stopped that my shoe was tied very, very loosly, so I decided to try retying it better and my foot felt better the last mile. Apparently it was hurting from flexing or banging into my shoe tied to loosely for actual support. It still hurt some later in the evening, but we'll see how it feels tomorrow morning for the hill workout.
