I added on a bit before meeting Joe because he wanted to run 12, so I started off up Derbyshire in sort of a rush because I like to be punctual. The footing was bad and I was in sort of a grumpy mood. Joe comes out of his dorm building eating a candy bar and wearing shorts when he sees me, and we start running northeast at my command so we could have a cross-wind. He decided he needed pants so we ran to Veale so he could put some on.

I decided we should run on Hampshire so we could stay in the road, but it wasn't plowed very well and I ended up slipping and falling for the second day in a row, but luckily I didn't hurt anything.

As we continued we started to talk about running and I recounted my Emory 10k to him in vivid detail. We started to talk about this season and the team some on the way back.

I felt somewhat sore and my face was frozen by the end but it turned out to be a fairly enjoyable run after the first five miles.
