I shifted the workout to today so that I could just run yesterday. I got in a good heat and biofreeze, actually feeling fairly pain free before the workout. I didnt really want to go into the cardio room, so I thought I would use the spinner on the track. Someone was on it. I wandered down to the rowing room, way downstairs, since I noticed there was a bike down there. I have never gone down that flight of stairs, so it was pretty cool. Only a few people were erging, so it was legit.
Did a spin version of the workout. Started with a 12:30 warm up, rested a little, then simulated 2x800, 4x400, 4x200 with 2 min rest between each set. 1:00 rest for 800s, 45sec rest for 400s and 30 sec rest for 200s. It came out to be intervals of 2:40, 78, 39, since that is 3k race pace. HR got pretty hihg up like upper 170s, it was tough. I was picturing myself running around the outdoor track, imagininng what part I was at, how much to go etc. Overall a very splendid workout. I like that spinner down there.
Back up to stretch, roll, hips and abs while talking about RHCP and the florida trip options. Its gonna be sooooo sweet (Donald Duck is mine...). Iced a little after, and I am feeling better than ever after pracitce now. Nice
I forgot a few things today. I guess I forgot L7 (which I did later) and I forgot my shoes at Veale. Kinda odd. I usually remember things.
