towards au, onto yuma, western, wisconsin (yeah, its taken me this long to figure out the names of the streets for that loop....)

March 2, 2012 (Morning)

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: cold and rainy !!!

Comments:
was in the weight room. but all i wanted was to go on a real run. so emma (merdock) was like what r u doing here? go on a run already!
so i did! i guess i was embarassed to run with the team to au and then not do a work out. and i guess it was just hard to run with the team when i hadnt been running with them in so long....yeah ok i was being silly.

luckily i had an extra pair of old shoes for emmergencies. this was an emergency. no way was i getting my new shoes all wet in the rain!
i headed out toward au. almost ran all the way there but then turned around and decided to go down a familiar root....id passed this street - yuma - and i was like, hey anthonys totally mentioned that street before! yeah, i didnt know where that street was eventho i've been running for too long to not know. ok you can stop making fun of me know.
it felt great. i finally got my run - even tho it was raining, and it was freezing, and my whole body was red with raw numbness. i had to make sure i kept my arms and legs moving a lot so that i wouldn't get sick, which in the end was probably good for my stride. ahhh it was fantastic! finally! just running and running and all on my terms...then i got lost. ok, trust my instincts...id began running back the way i came but that was boring and i really wasn't in the mood to be chicken (even tho i'd already played that role by ditching the rest of the team at au...). i wanted to take the adventure, and i thought the route seemed familiar....and after much hesitation, i trusted myself and ended up on this street called western (yay! another important street learned! or well...not that i remember where it is...) anyway, figured out how to finish the route all by myself!
lights were annoying - jaywalked a lot.
i saw this guy coming towards me in this green poncho wearing a goofy smile and i swear it was anthony....of course it wasn't, and i, incredibly embarassed, put my hand down and stopped myself from saying hi. but hey, it was def an anthony-poncho, and he did have his hood up.
brought it in to school strong. the run was def tempo. felt great. didn't really stretch/cooldown much after. i just wanted to get inside andwarm up. my limbs were so red and i was so numb. but otherwise fantastic.
