Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Fun day! Drove up to Mck Bridge with Dan-O for a fundraiser track relay for Mck HS. The race was 16K of track, split in half. We did 8x800 then 4x400. A bunch of OTC folk were there, including Sam Chelenga, which was cool. LB and Monkey Boy also ran.
The original idea was do to fast (2:30) and slow (3:00), but once we started at 2:30 we just kept em there!
My splits:
2:27, 2:29, 2:29, 2:29, 2:28, 2:30, 2:30, 2:30, then :71, :70, :70 and :68
Awesome workout! Ran in the Ronins til the 400s, then quick changed into the old school adidas spikes!
Cooldown was a drive up river to run the McK River trail, which had 3-6" of snow -- tough but fun run with Dan-O!
Very productive rest of the afternoon w/Britten, which was nice. BEAUTIFUL in the valley!
