Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Started just before noon to get it out of the way so I could be productive. Coach told me to do what I felt my body would let me do and still run a successful 1500 this weekend. Same workout as last Monday. Didn't go quite as well, though. Warmed up NP to Coventry then got started. 3 on at goal 5k pace, 2 off at easy for a total of 30-40 minutes. My legs were pretty heavy from Monday still, and I never really felt all that great. The first two intervals went alright, but the third one hurt quite a bit, and I decided to just go for five. As such, I just looped around the second lake instead of going to Eaton and around like I did last week. I kind of doubt I was even near goal pace after the first two, but I was still moving pretty well I feel and I don't think it was a total wash. Cooled down back to Veale, stretched and did abs with Drew. My right calf is still really tight, need to get that loosened up by the weekend.
