Mile tempo w/ quarters

Today was the easy workout. Got there earlier than most people. No heating hammy felt good. Legs were tired but I worked out most of the aches yesterday on the long run. Workout was kinda ambiguous, but turned out to be 2 tempo miles, and 4 400s with decreasing rest. Those sounded tough, and they were, they sucked. Warmed up over to the track, did some striders and drills. It was windy there and I kept my layers on for the first two. Miles were Me Corey Wyatt and Brandon. Pretty even splitting, but the wind pushed us back on the finish, so I think it should have been a little faster. Went

The quarters were right after. My legs were def in 520 mode, not sprinting mode. Had to work with it, and I fell to the back. It was real tough, but I just tired to keep Wyatt in contact. Worked until the last one. went

That is what the last few laps need to be at... Get Sum. Cooled down around the field for a while at a slow pace. HR was around 170-180 I think but I recovered pretty quickly. My legs didnt...

Fairly good workout, disappointed with the last quarter. I knew from the start it was gonna be bad and I let it get to me. Started out slow, and didnt have my head in it. The other ones were good, so thats positive. This is the time to practice mentality though, and every rep counts. At least the miles were good.

Weight training after

Jogged back to veale with Aaron and Phil, then got right to stretching rolling and L7 and abs. No ice bath today. I will get in tomorrow. Im feeling a leg hang later though.

Legs are tired at the end of the day, not sore. I felt decent today thought a good workout. That is honestly the pace to be, and if I can do it now, I can do it later. Havnt talked to coach yet, I assume Im doing back to back... I want to to get the good race in. Im feeling it.
