MLK tempo/steady state: Wind resistance

It was really windy out today, all I can say. I was gonna meet Calvin at 4, so I thought I would be late to practice. I ended up meeting at 3 which worked out perfectly. I got right to practice on time. Jess wasnt there to talk about my heel, but it has been feeling better. THe cup helps so I just ran. Warm up with Chris Mitchell Phil and Aaron over to MLK. We all felt terrible on the warm up. Odd because felt soooo good yesterday. Shins were tight and stiff like thy are sometimes (loosened up over time). THe wind was such a factor that we all decided to just go out and run effort. Steady state means im shootin for like 160 HR. We all started in a pack. I was kinda in the back, letting my legs loosen out. It felt tough for them, but my upper body was fine not taxed at all... Odd feeling. The wind didnt help, felt like I couldnt go... On way back Phil picked it up, I matched his speed and Mitchell and Aaron fell behind. They all stopped at 3 but I kept going. That one was real slow, but I tried to stay in it mentally. THe wind slowed me down at least 15 i would say... shoot 160 HR at the end so its ok. splits:

5:41, 5:49, 5:51, 6:07

Cooled down to the track where we did some 200s. Felt sooo much better on those. There was a hurdle in the way. Landing felt bad but acceleration after was good. Acceleration in could be better. I got over fine. Splits were

32, 35, 33, 33

Finally cool down to Veale. We were all pretty tired, and no ice bath is boshank got to get it tomorrow.

Did some strength. Not too bad since I have been practicing pushups.

Stretch roll L7 pretty good. Much needed off tomorrow.

Checked my sheets and I am still on the plan. Coach hasnt given me a 100% but I hope to pop in tomorrow to find out. I know I should be there with everyone.
