I met Mitchell at the sophomore dorms for my final "long run" as a Case runner. We met David and Mercer on their way out for a run so the four of us ran together. My plantar fasciitis had gotten pretty bad in the last day or so and I was questioning whether or not I could do this, but it turned out that it hurt more walking than running and mostly went away after the first mile. As I told the group, I might have considered taking a little time off except that since is my last week anyway I may as well throw caution to the wind. For me to stop running at this point, any injury that causes it had better be incredible.
We spent the part of the run talking about SAGES and sucking up to professors after Mercer described his Gender and Woman's Studies Class. After splitting ways, Mitchell and I had a fairly intense discussion on the relationship between thoughts and language in which we disagreed somewhat on whether thoughts can occur independent of language. I took the side that we think and then put it into language to express. The entire argument was difficult to express to be entirely honest.
