Logistically, wasnt going to run. I wanted to watch the races, and didnt feel like showering and such. Still got drained from the sun light all day... Legs were really weak yesterday after the race. They just got fucked since I went so hard.
Im going to run on and off (30 miles a week) and do some fun xtraining through finals, then take my two weeks off when Im home, then get into summer training. I have lots of goals and tricks for the summer
loose weight
cut sugar
yoga to loosen muscles
I think those will help get me more prepared and in consistent training to run faster and better. I feel I can be there and should be there for the team.
BTW 3rd place finish was absolutly amazing. Last time we finished that high was in 1995! So much hard work, and it feels better to celebrate as a team. I can help but feel disapointed taht I didnt get my goal. I am happy that I fought hard with my circumstances and did what I could, and that is all anyone can ask for. Together as a team we did the same thing, and look what happened. All anyone can ask for is we fought hard and tried our best.
