Elephant in the room

April 30, 2012 (Afternoon)

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: Very warm, not windy, sunny

Comments:
Headed out for an easy run with Tim, Ethan, and Paul Z. Left Aaron Lin behind when we went out the path between Veale and Glennan. Cut across the meadow to Fairhill to Moreland. Ethan and Paul headed back when we hit Livingston and Tim and I continued Southward. Took Abell to Milverton to Ludgate (which Tim had never run before!) to Scottsdale to Lee to South Park. Quick water stop at the Nature center, hopped back on North Park and got our doors blown off by some guy with a stroller. He had to be doing 6:40 pace or better. Picked up Aaron and finished up down the hill to Ambleside and back to Veale.

This was an enjoyable run. Tim and I talked about a smorgasbord of things, such as which sketchy areas we didn't want to go through. Eventually the talk turned to running. We talked a little about how few runs we've done together because of mismatches in mileage and schedules before switching to exploration. Tim was a little surprised by how little I've explored the areas surrounding Case on runs. Most of the runs that really went interesting places were long runs with him. I felt like there were a lot of things left unsaid during this run, but that was okay.
