Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Felt GREAT all afternoon, after some morning soreness. I had Jeff check me out again -- to double check the joint -- but all he did was look at my motor control and give me ex's.
I wore the compr socks + tape + sleeve all day. After the PT session I drove to Hardesty.
On the way up: it was fair/moderately painful on the climb, on and off. Nothing terrible, but disconcerting. I figured it wasn't a good idea to do a full Hardesty, so I stopped after "segment 3" (37:00), stretched a bit, then descended.
NEW INSIGHT:
Yes, the joint mobility is important, but the tendon IS clearly irritated. To figure out why, it MAY be connected to:
Stiffness R pelvis (not driving down R)
Stiffness L scap/1st rib (not driving down L UE/driving up L LE + driving down R LE)
= my lower leg has to work harder to DF my foot!
SO I really worked on a hard drive on the R, and a high recovery step on the L, using my abs and hamstrings (a bit). Felt GREAT! FLEW down, including a couple Killian moves. It was LESS sore on the way down -- only a few periods of painfulness.
Post-run: not very sore walking around, 'til I got back. Moderately sore at Britt's but not bad at all! :)
