Comments:
had literally just come out of my ap (it officially ended at 4:16). i was tired i guess, kinda worn out, hadn't eaten much of anything but a power bar...but somehow i was still feelin' a time trial. i dunno, maybe it had something to do with the relief of being done with aps? i was def wavering tho - today was the ideal day for a first time trail so that i cud get an actual pr next time trail but i was tired and not many ppl were doing time trails...but as i ran over i got more and more confident and strong in my stride. by the time i got to the track i was pretty much set on doing this.

it wasn't too cool which was good, and no sun to drain my energy. rain isnt exactly my thing but didnt bother me too much today.
i dunno my head was just blank today. it was good i think. i may have been worn down, but i wasn't that crazy nervous person. i wasn't overthinking. in fact i didnt think abt what i was gunna do at all cept keep up with my pacer.
ended up running a very solid 800. didn't really have a time for myself, just a range - which was perfect for today. anything below 45 and i'd be satisfied. i haven't rly been getting my times down this season so i was pretty flexible in getting anything decent. my goal was for low 40s so that i cud break into the 30s next time trail. i basically wanted to get the time back down to where it was last yr first, then go for a pr. and it was the perfect plan. adam was an awesome pacer. didn't feel too pressured, nor too eased. i was just nervous enough to fell my stomach turn. and then i was suddenly at the start line and just ran. and kept running. steady. the hardest part was the front straightaway of lap #2. but once i got to the 200 mark i was free to hit the balls of me feet and that was that. knew i was gunna hit it. if i hadn't been so worn out maybe i couldda gotten a strong kick in the last 100m, but i was pleanty satisfied when i got a 2:42. perfect - right in the middle of the range i wanted! i didn't even need my spikes! lol but i really shud wear those next time...haven't worn em all season and they'll make a couple sec difference. yeah im silly like that (my dad keeps saying if i have em i shud wear em)
calves pretty sore after. just worn out from todays events...but i was done.

the season is coming to a close, and i'm feeling good.
