DOUBLE Hardesty/Lost Creek

Met Dan-O at the Goodman TH at 9ish. The goal was a double for me and a single for him.

I had him lead the first loop, as he ran Mc Forest yesterday. Felt TIRED and sluggish in the first half of the climb, but came around...

Did the climb in about 66 minutes. The rest of the run was pretty uneventful -- we didn't do the June climb because I wanted to preserve my legs for Lap 2. Got water in the spring, then had a nice descent to the road.

Ran pretty fast down the road; I tried to match Dan-O's quick (>180?) turnover. Got a bit of medial hamstring pain due to lack of heel recovery, but it went away when we got on Goodman.

Nice Goodman run back to the TH. By then the TH was packed! And HOT. I hammered water, a Clif, a Rice Crispie bar, reloaded everything, then went for lap 2.

Lap 2 was slightly FASTER in every leg, including the climb! It was harder, but I focused on good mechanics. Ran out of water at Hardesty, so by the time I got to the creek I was pretty parched. Guzzled a bottle+ and filled, then ran out of that before Goodman.

Had a pretty solid bonk on Goodman, but otherwise had a solid run. VERY TIRED afterward!

Shin was 100% 'til the last 40min or so. Did have some R ab cramping issues up high AND down low- dunno if this is from the trunk shift and/or from tensing the R abs. ALSO focused on a strong pelvic depr on the L.
