Comments:
LAST DAY OF WORK. It went by FAST. It was busy.
After wrapping up loose ends I set out for a run from work at half past noon. First stop was to the post office to mail my CPI, then I just "tooled around". I usually don't like city routes, but I wanted to take in Eugene a bit today, so I rolled down Willamette all the way to 33rd, then shot over to the Rexius loop. I did a short out and back, then headed back north through adidas and back to work.
Felt pretty good. I felt REALLY tired at first, but finished OK. Really focused on the QUAD EXTENSION, per usual. Both knees are "achy" (because it's different running form from...maybe ever), but no knee pain. I look forward to the day that I forget about even mentioning knee pain...
Did circuits at work, ate lunch, then had some "going-away pie". Bid everyone farewell then took off to run errands: bought a bike rack at REI, then went to Market of Choice and spent $108 on BEER!!!
BEAUTIFUL AFTERNOON. Could've been no-shirt running weather if I'd waited til late afternoon. I really wanted to go for a short ride -- my first shirt-shorts only of '09 -- but I wound up spending a couple hours packing and cleaning house -- probably a better use of time.
Went to Jeff's for "movie night". N'bad, n'bad...
