Didn't sleep great. 4hrs work, then off to Rooster. Wore pants as poison oak protectant.

Got there just as Lewis was about to do his 2nd "Nate" loop. MEGA-HUMID. Ran only halfway up before I was soaked (t-shirt and pants) w/sweat.

Lewis set a solid pace; his power-hiking was super strong; I could barely keep up!

The run down Rooster trail SUCKED. I could just feel the quads blowing out. Also, my feet were sliding about because they were saturated with sweat. Also banged the shit out of my 3rd toe on the R foot. Walked/hiked 97% of the UP rooster. Once up there, I ran easier on the way down, after tightening my shoes.

Overall I felt like shit, so once Lewis was done, I resigned to only one more Trout up/down. Thought I'd go much faster but it was about the same up; slight faster down.

Drank only about 1.5 bottles of fluid total during (3/4 bottle, some mid loops and a can of Pepsi). Very thirsty after; took about 3-4L to get me back by night's end.

VERY tired that night; didn't go to Pre-PRE.
