Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Wow another beautiful day out. So excited about looking for the Robert Frost Trail after Wed. Went up there for my long run to explore a little, since you cant see anything on Map My Run. Went up to North Amherst, up Summer Rd and then past the Pond. tons of people were swimming and chilling on the beach. We should hit that up some time. Continued to the crushed limestone trail head. It went off into some intense trails, much like the Finger Lakes Land Trust trails. I had no idea where I was going, so I just wandered along one till it ended or hit a road, and then turned around. They were really fun to run on though. Went back to the road and then did another trail that cut back to Pulpit Hill. Took Pulpit Hill back to Summer then back to the dorm. Wasnt sure if I went far enough so I added a loop around the parking lot. Some real nice stuff up there, there is a lot more exploring to be done. Felt real comfortable and relaxed on the roads, took it a little more cautious on the trails. They were really rooty and some were actually pretty dangerous (running along the side of a cliff). Pace should have evened out though. For the most part felt good, had a few stitches here and there.
Essentials: Stretch, hips, L7, pullups, abs, roll.
Got a drink, then went down to the playground. So nice to sit and stretch in the grass. Started my 24 Real Ghetto Workout, doing a few pullups on the jungle gym. Just a brotha getting a workout. Finished with some abs then rolling in my room. Another good week. See how it goes next week, since I am going to try and run in the morning a few times. And bump it up, but Molly and Kevin should be joining me on a few runs.
