Good at first then fell apart

Weather: Nice 45-50

Comments:
The first 8 miles or so felt fantastic. Was right at race pace. But I was one mile from the water break and needed it right then. That did me in. Once you realize you need water and GU it's too late. Mile 9 was a huge wall for me. I thought I was gonna make it but at mile 11 we turned into a big headwind. I didn't have any gas but kept pushing. My right IT started to tighten up so I overcompensated and made my left hip started to hurt. Once it got bad it got worse fast. By the time I finally mde it 13 miles I was toast. Struggled to get 13.34 and stopped. I almost passed out when I stopped. Even with an awful finish it is the farthest I have ever been. I had a scoop and a half of NO before the run and GU'ed twice. 2 weeks to go and I clearly have a little work to do. Thanks to Justin I didn't quit before the 13. Thanks to Brian I saw what fast running looks like. Good work men.
