Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Big group run in the nice weather. Cooled down in the afternoon even though it was fucking hot this morning. Me Molly Jimmy and Kevin all headed out to Pulpit Hill and Puffers Pond. Looking for 5, so we went up Pulpit Hill and cut through the woods on the RFT. Then came around Puffers Pond and back to campus. The guys did an extra look on the access rd to add on some mileage. I joined. They kinda dropped me there. I was tired, not used to the legs moving. Felt fine for the first miles but legs just fell off near the end. NBD. Still feel good cardio, but its gonna take a while to get back to consistent running. Shin held up, a little sore after. Legs good overall.
Essentials: Stretch, L7, roll, Ice
I would have to say this was a kinda lackadaisical stretch. We talked most of the time, but I got the basics in. Sat and chatted before heading back up to roll and stretch hammies. Shin is kinda sore after, but the "getting back into it" kinda sore, not the hurting sore which is good. I didnt really feel it at all running. I am just so happy to be out running.
New shoes too that could do the trick. Old ones didnt quite have 350 on them, but I have had them for a while and was loosing the cushioning.
